Connecting a valid bank account to your StyleMD account is necessary for you to get paid by your clients. Linking your account also let's our system know your profile is ready to be displayed to users. If your profile does not have an associated bank account we can not pay you and as such, your profile is not being displayed.
It is likely you will be selecting the "Individual" tab and can therefore leave all the optional information blank. You may also be wondering if connecting your account is secure. How does Stripe process payments?
Stripe processes all transactions for us. Once you link your bank account through our platform, you are then able to accept payments immediately. Funds are added to your bank account on a seven-day rolling basis.
Is Stripe PCI-Compliant?
Yes. Stripe is certified as a PCI Level 1 Service Provider.
Will fraudulent orders or cards be rejected?
Stripe maintains fraud prevention by detecting suspicious activity, such as repeated orders, and rejects the transaction. Additionally, Stripe works with its financial partners and credit card networks to monitor fraud globally.
